I currently am the proud owner of 3 Malinois , Lumas my older male is no retired from competition or any type of work but spend most of his day protecting the whole house. My youngest male Ace has been competing in obedience and personal protection but also is an SAR HRD working K9. My youngest female, Hexe, 3 years old has been also competing in obedience and personal protection but is definitely a personal protection dog. Ace is currently getting training for PSA

All my dogs were retrievers and were trained in retrieving and basic obedience. Mild personal and home protection came naturally. I'm not in the protection field and never felt paranoid enough to feel I needed dogs specially trained in personal and home protection.

The protection training is part of the sport protection part of competition. But it s always a nice add up to the “house life style”. Retreated amazing canines with such a pre disposed genetics of performing.
