Kinda can't as "unmatch" notifies the algorithm to exclude that particular profile from repeated searches.

There is a work-around, if you can remember where the profile claims to be located.

In the search field there is a box with a drop-down arrow that by default says "Near Me".
Click the arrow & type the location of the profile you want to recover into the exposed blank field.
It will give you several similarly named locations and you click the exact one you want.

Then set the distance to something like 100-150 miles of that chosen location & expand the "Age" criteria widely enough to encompass that particular profile's "claimed" age.

(Not everyone is fully truthful with the age disclosure that appears in their header - particularly women seeking an older gentleman than themselves - but men seeking younger or older also rig the "Age" criteria of the search algorithm to produce women's profiles in the age bracket they are actually seeking & to get themselves included in the search results of women seeking a man in the "claimed" age bracket.)

"Age" claims are one of the bigger problem issues on this site.
Very early on I had a woman disclose to me that she was actually 42, not the 62 her header stated, when I laughed & said "if she was 62, I was 138".
She said it was because she was seeking an older - (& presumably tamer & more sincere) - man to get a relationship going with.

Because you have changed the search parameters a re-set occurs and the profile you "unmatched" should reappear as an offering near that location.

To permanently lock it in, hit the red heart-shaped "Like" icon &/or the yellow "Nudge" icon.
If you also hit the blue "Chat" icon and send a message that profile will remain available via your "Mail" tab.

It is best to do the nudge (but you only get 5 a day) or the best option is just to send them a message. Likes usually have your profile picture blurred out and letters missing from your name so it is hard to get back with that person.

Yes & no.
If the profile is a paid subscriber then the red "Like" button makes your odds go WAY up that they are real & not some fake scammer profile - thus increasing the likelihood they will notice you and respond, if interested at all.

That is False does not matter if you are a Paid Member or not!

You still get the Fake/Scammers it is why I have always set my filters.

As far as the like Button anyone can click on that regardless paid or not it does the same thing.. It just shows someone liked you...

Even then you still get them. Once you learn how to spot them, and use Yandex or Google to search for their picture you will find out much sooner if they are fake..

Once you click that they are not a match their profile normally will not come back across..

If you know the user name and they have posted in the forums..You have a chance to find them.. Or if they happened to email you and you still have the email..

Other then that there is no Search by Profile name anymore.. Use to have that and they took it away..

I am beginning to think that this site is being run on the scammers that pay, that is why the site lets SOOOO many stay on here...lol What is a couple bucks to a scammer if it makes them a lot more?

The thought HAS crossed my mind that the owners/operators of this site are behind the massive invasion of scam profiles.

That running a stable of thousands of scammer accounts generates a LOT of money from sukkers willing to get better access to those hot men/women depicted in fake profiles in ADDITION to being the end recipients of any gift cards, money orders, or bank transfers, that are generated by the scam accounts which they create and control.

It also gives the appearance that the site has much larger membership numbers & increases the potential value of it should an offer to purchase come up or ad revenues start to become a part of the earnings potential of the much inflated user numbers.

Logically & logistically, if you have no scruples - & the whole world seems reduced to that these days - it wouldn't be a bad business model, until you get caught at it.

Even then, corporations & the people running them RARELY answer for their crimes and almost NEVER go to jail over them, leaving them free to just start up a new grift.

Is it False that paid subscriber can see the photos and names of people who clicked their red "Like" heart button?
Because the sales pitch here is that if you become a paid member you can then view all the people who "Liked" you.
If this is not true, somebody is open to consumer protection lawsuits prohibiting false advertising.

Ergo, if anyone does click the paid subscriber's "Like" button, their profile is viewable and more likely to draw interest than one that is invisible/blurred/name-partially obscured in the way it is for free members.

(PS: some of the profiles listed as having "Liked" my profile CAN be seen using certain tricks I have employed.)

I have a folder with 62 images of them in it (& 589 I haven't treated to un-blur yet), profile photos that are as clear as my own is to me, allowing me to discover in regular search results some of the matches that have already "Liked" my profile.
It's time consuming & consumes heavy resources on my PC so I stopped bothering after 62, but potentially I COULD reveal the other 589 with enough time & effort.

Paid Members can see who viewed them or liked them..

But if they skip them as a match or say no then they are gone..

Paid member or not you can only find that profile as I mentioned above~~

Right, but once a paid subscriber can see their profile it's a simple matter to open that profile and send them a "Mail" message, establishing 2-way contact & thus getting you noticed and in touch with that profile which you CANNOT do by clicking on the encrypted blurred ones.
Free members cannot do that.

Ergo; as I stated previously, clicking a red "Like" heart button raises your chances of being noticed and getting contacted back by that profiled person IF they happen to be a paid member.

The number of scammers is another issue entirely.
But circling back to the O.P.'s question, my advised method is a viable alternative to recover someone's profile that you might have accidentally or consciously X-ed off your search return list.
