I Lay Here
By: EveningKiss I lay here in chains. Chains that keep me here, And won't let me free. I lay here in Chains, For I am bound by my word. I lay here with scars. Deep wounds that won't heal, And never stop hurting, I lay here with scars, For I am to keep silent. I lay here blindfolded. Unable to see what's happening, And am made to see only darkness. I lay here blindfolded, For I was blinded for what I saw. I lay here in silence. The silence that scares me, And scares me so much. I lay here in silence, For I have nothing to say. I lay here alone. No one comes to see me, And I can't see them. I lay here alone, For you left me here alone. |

Ahh, very nicely written EveningKiss. An artist's touch even in the throes of pain and you bring out it's imagery so well.
