Some people look
Some people see Some people give Some people take Some people love Some people hurt But Darling I assure you I don't belong to some. I'll see you in your light. I'll give you everything you deserve. I'll love only you to heaven and beyond. Till our very last moments in the sands of time. |

A poem should be felt and the comments we make should reflect the way you felt as you analyzed it . However this is not criticism. Its just a positive compliment so you can work better on your next poem . We as readers need WOW factor in Poems ! Looking forward for your next creativity . |

Darling, I would be the wind behind your sails I would be the one to tell your tales I would be the one to hold your secrets I would be your Earth when all else fails So if you're ever scared to jump before me Take the fear off of your face 'Cause I would be the one to write your story And I won't forget a single page But you could be the author Oh darling, you could be the author Oh darling, you could be the author I'll begin by writing down your name You and I would be the characters will meet by the 7th page Suburban drama, picture perfect in the frame But by the 7th chapter things would never be the same 'Cause, 8th grade we met, it wouldn't be the last time This experience, that I meet you in a past life Heroes in our story save the world like a past time But the road to happy ending's ain't a fast line The epiphany in chapter 22 Recurring demon me, living life without you Some would call it tragic, but it's only just a start 'Cause even fate couldn't keep them apart Darling, I would be the wind behind your sails I would be the one to tell your tales I would be the one to hold your secrets I would be your Earth when all else fails So if you're ever scared to jump before me Take the fear off of your face 'Cause I would be the one to write your story And I won't forget a single page But you could be the author Oh darling, you could be the author Oh darling, you could be the author So follow me through the page Don't pray for perfection I won't be the one to save you from all your questions I still see that you are brave despite the scars you hide Don't turn away from the night Don't you turn away from the night Darling, I would be the wind behind your sails I would be the one to tell your tales I would be the one to hold your secrets I would be your Earth when all else fails So if you're ever scared to jump before me Take the fear off of your face 'Cause I would be the one to write your story And I won't forget a single page But you could be the author Oh darling, you could be the author Oh darling, you could be the author Songwriters: The Author lyrics © |

I also have a sands of time poem I wrote years ago...
The sands of time are in my mind And I don't know what to say. Will I recall a darkened hall Or a place I used to play. Memories like falling trees Crash about my head Till one escapes And then it makes A memory that I dread. |
