what happened to delhomme? is he going to play next week?
nfl.com said he was questionable. Who else do they have for a QB??
i don't even know. wonder if they even know lol
Well, if Deangelo can run like he did last week, it really don't matter
huh? |
not really i heard they have to lay new sod after he got done with it.
they were saying that he has at least earned a split but that foster was still going to be the starter when he gets back |
There Back up is Chris Winkie (from Florida) however it their Starter
should be Stefan LeFlores (from Lousville).... Delhome Sucks Ass and is really killing Steve Smiths Fantasy Football Value.... |
DUDE!! I remember Leflours, yeah!! He was freakin bad-ass!!!! Hell YEAH
they should start him!!! Only morons wouldn't!! What the hell has Wienke done?? NADA!!! |
neither of the back ups would do very good standing behind that
offensive line. maybe they have gotten more chemistry since week 8 but they couldn't block anythingup til then |
oooooooooooo!! thats true!! I forgot about that, but at least ya know
Leflours is a mobile QB, so he could do PA rollouts, quick 3 step drop throws, and basically do what Rothlesberger did in Pittsburgh where they ran 2/3rds of the time. Just run PA (play action) off that with quick routes and hopefully get a good %. |
Yeah, they compared LeFlores to Steve Young in College. He is a very
Mobile QB that carried his College Team on his back to the Top 10. He's like McNabb (or Young) when he scrambles in the Pocket, breaks free from presure and looks to throw first, but is NOT afraid to run.... Sorta sounds like the formula the Cowboys used: Sat the Statue Bledsoe because of a weak pass blocking O-Line and put in Romo (but look how bad the Cowboys are doing)... |

Hey sluggo, I am a NE fan and just out of curiousity, I wanted to get
your thoughts on Tom Brady. |
Brady's the 2nd coming of Joe Montana (I think he's one of the 3 best in
the league and anyone can easily arguee hes the best because all he does is simply WIN!!)... Too Bad the Krafts did pay Branch or get another play maker to replace him Rache' Caldwell is pretty good WR (but he "Should" be a #2, not a #1 because the team was too cheap to pay for a real #1. The Patriots should have signed Stallworth in the off season as well if they knew they were going to play hardball with Branch...then they woulda had two good starters) |
I totally agree with both points, sluggo. The pats screwed themselves
with the whole Branch ordeal. If they knew that was goin on they shouldv'e at least drafted another WR in the top rounds. Where do you think Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech is gonna go, and how much of an impact on the NFL do you think he'll have. I think he'll be a baller like Randy Moss when he first came out, without the extra BS. |
And bein the Niner fan I am, I know what a Montana clone looks like, and
Brady's it!!! DAMMIT!! |
I wish they would have signed Stallworth, because he went to my rival
high school (Grant) and I went to Rio Linda in Cali. That would have been cool. There was a guy named Marty Johnson on Philly (I don't know if he is with the or not) but I graduated with him. He was a running back at Utah with Alex Smith. |
that comment you made about mobility is right on target sluggo. being a
running athlete at QB is completely different from being a mobile QB. the mobility to move around in the pocket so that they buy time to let a receiver get open instead of running from the pressure. i look at players like vick and i don't think he'll ever become that type of QB but vince young is looking like he has the idea. |
I bet if someone would give Leflours a chance, he'd ball outta control
in the NFL! |
