I want to know.......Why are there people near you who wont give you the time of day, when there are others who are like 5,000 miles away that would give every minute of every day? Thats why you gotta makes sure you label yourself 5000miles away from where you are so that you reverse murphy's law. |

Yeah I have wondered that too. I find all kinds of people who are very sweet and would love to be with and vice versa, but then there are people from my neck of the woods who won't give me a second look. |

Honestly, people that live near you can't deal with the pressure of seeing you right away... but you can actually get to know people 500 miles away before you actually meet, if at all :) I love talking to new and interesting people from far away... you never know what might happen and where

Odd, that feeling, isn't it? It's just a dumb ol message thingy, and yet... it's like watching fireworks on the Fourth of July. Oooh Oooo! Oooh!

I've been trying to figure this out since I got here. I get mail every day from people asking about something I wrote in the forums, or about my profile, or whatever, and ALL of it is from people who are 897,000 miles away or more.
Maybe none of the others can read. Of course, if they're products of the Chicago school system, this would actually make sense....
