Pat was working at border control. One morning, an old fella pushing a bicyle came around, carrying a bag under his arm.

Pat gets suspicious and asks the guy, what's in the bag.

"Just sand" replies the guy.

Pat doesn't believe it, opens the bag ... just sand. So the old fella can go.

Next day, the same.

"What have you got in the bag?" asks Pat
"Just sand" replies the old guy.
Once again, Pat checks the bag, and once again he only finds sand. So the old guy heads off.

This goes on for a couple of weeks, and Pat, completely fed off, resigns from the job.

A year later, out of curiosity, Pat goes back to his old job. And who just comes down the road? The old guy.

"C'mere mate", says Pat, "I am not working here anymore. And me lips are sealed. But please tell us, what the heck were ye smuggling all the time?"

The old guy just looks at Pat, puts on a big smile and says "Bicycles. I am smuggling bicycles"
