Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.
If we want this blessing what percentage of people do you think can we take advice from ? Most everyone I run across are not all that Godly. I know I'm guilty of listening to some of these ungodly types with the purpose of learning from them. At what point do I lose my blessing ? It's a simple enough scripture on the surface, but a little more complicated for me when I think about applying it.

The Psalm does not say that you loose blessing for taking counsel with others. Other people, who do not hold to your beliefs, can still be a benefit to you.

Taking counsel is never the same as taking action. It is always up to you how you behave.

I certainly respect and thank you for your opinions Douglas but I think there may be a bit more to this. Seems to if your blessed for not doing something then conversely then you are not especially blessed when you do it. If it wasn't this way why even mention it in scripture. I forget where to find it but there is a scripture that says all of the word is good for instruction.

May be you means these verses;
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
In Matthew 28:16-20, Jesus conveys the great commission to his disciples. He says that they have been given authority to disciple others in the name of Christ, and that he expects them to go out and do so. In fact, he even tells them where they should do so.
In Islam: The disciples said to Jesus: “Oh, Spirit of God, who are we sitting with then?” He said: “Whom his vision reminds you in God, his logic increase your knowledge and his deed make you wish for the hereafter?”
The prophets and messengers forbade sitting with the rich man who were overshadowed by the wealthy.
Religious texts emphasized to believers the importance of sitting with scholars because they increase a person’s knowledge, improve his manners, and purify him. And the encouragement to sit with the wise, because sitting with them completes the mind.
In the Quran it is forbidden to sit with the people of falsehood of every kind when they engage in their falsehood.
The Prophet Muhammad also recommended sitting with wise and righteous man; because sitting with them is life for minds, enlightenment for hearts, and healing for souls. Also sitting with the poor; in order for a person to feel the value of what God has blessed him with, and to be more thankful to Him.
