Yes, the storm was getting really bad. They sent everyone home before the next band hit so they would get home safely.

The local news here just showed the Keys getting rain , at least not too high of winds there.

High enough to make going over the bridges not too safe. I was in Islamorada, 27 miles south. Much worse there than here at home.
