To my rIver spirit:

I see us both in canoes, flowing gently down stream.
We're on a small river,yet quite wide,a gentle mild flow.
In our canoes, kayak paddles in hand, we gaze, into each other's eyes, as the spirit moves.
We adore the scenic views,our spirits lift so high.
We're on a journey from whence we know not, yet we have just begun.
How can this be that I adore you so?
You tell me your name soothing my pain!
We text, we chat and toy with Slim, he drops his pen and let's us be.
We text,we chat till our eyes grow dim.
I say goodnight, you sweet dreams with my name, instilling a soothing calm!
As we flow in our canoes hoping someday to share one canoe.
Oh what peace,a calmness joy,to connect with you!
