Hummm first of all you can delete the messages in the sent area but if you sent it it is still sent.
You can delete the messages that are sent to you either before you read them or after. But regardless after 30 days if they are in the sent box or the received box they will automatic go by by. HOPE THAT ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS!! |

Once a message is sent - it can not be "taken back" -- by deleting it from your sent file you are only erasing YOUR record of the message. Rapunzel can you confirm this?? Oh, and don't sweat the "DUH"... It was aimed at everyone myself included because I was asking this same question of some other folks just a few days ago. Sorry for making it appear a pointed insult. Sorry, you've never talked with me. 95% of what I say is joking and the other 5% is suspect. Well, i forgive you.... And yes, your message is still in my mail box one thing we all need to try to understand is until someone really knows the other person and is familiar with their brand of humor... and especially when you cannot actually hear the tone of voice , or look into someones' eyes, it is really easy for words to be misconstrued.. i happen to be very highly respected here and in my personal life and also highly intelligent and while i am also not perfect i strive for a high quality of life and mutual respect with the people i have contact with.... like my buddy here Rob, who has always shown me the utmost of respect and courtesy you know the old saying... you get more with sugar than you do with vinegar |

Sorry to disappoint! It's like when you leave a message on someone's answering machine -- unless you break in and erase the darn thing (or have the code!) it's there for the recipient...nothing you can do about it...
I teach computer skills...so, yes, I am sure of my facts... Shelley |
