A distinct rumble of thunder
Echoing through the stormy night The mainland folks are all in slumber As a ship is washed up onto the rocks What a ghastly sight! Grant them the courage to know that night That as a survivor something is wrong To anyone else surviving too Grant them the strength to be strong! Thus the knowledge of care When the world has shifted The help that is there, when It feels like reality's a-drifted Patience, my friends, if it feels like the end Death is not the final note Love is what keeps us all, afloat All emotions, let them go too Words not said are the spoken truth Passion is passion, no matter the cost Prayers going up to those that are lost Memories cut too deep for the people to share Pain too extreme for the burden to bear Maybe there is more out there to help those that care Lessen the burden to make it well known all people in need can pick up their 'phone Spirit know that love is not lost We just need to work with them, no matter the cost Be open to all possibilities that universally come true As this writer writes these words down from me into you As you are realising now, it is a lesson well learned Not to ignore someone or not pick up the phone Always wake up to those in need, Do not allow more lives to bleed, Pain of the past can be let go at last! Maybe we can all enjoy a beautiful new start Maybe at this point, souls will be freed Uplifting each other, to bring about peace Xx Never ignore someone else in need of help if they reach out to you. Be kind. You never know when you might be in the same boat. |
