Imagine you are a "Stage Performer" and you have been invited to the United States of America to perform a " Mega Show " on a Contract Amount of USD 250,000/=. On the Other Hand Your Mother is Seriously ill and she need You Beside her. Will You go to United States of America and Perform the Show OR Will You stay at Home and Take care of your Loving Mother .( Plz Note that Your Mother needs Only You Beside her at this Hour Of Time )...How are you going to Handle this Situation ??

I'd stay home with my Mom, wouldn't matter that it's only this hour of time, or a minute. In reality, she's no longer alive. So if she were, and needed me, I'd be there.

I suppose it depends on your financial situation. 250k can provide a lot of medical care while "you're" away. On the other hand it may be the last time "you" see "you're" mum alive.

You didn't pinch my heart, no need to be sorry, but thank you. I know it's just a question, and it's actually a good thought provoking question. What does one do when faced in those kind of circumstances?

To be honest, had my Mom not passed away, my answer might be different. As it is, because I no longer get to spend physical time with her, my answer was swayed by that knowledge. So, I'd want to spend time with her. I would choose the same even if she wasn't a loving Mom, because it would get me a chance to heal what was broken before she passed. I'd choose the same with my father, who actually wasn't a loving father before he passed. Back then I chose to do something else when he needed me, and he died while I was off doing something else... it took me a long time for me to forgive myself for that.

So, to me, it doesn't matter whether they were loving or not. If they were around and reached out to me, I'd go to them in a heart beat, least knowing what I know today.
