Not only did we not have cable - there were no remote controls either! I can still hear it "go change the channel". Grrr... And is there such a thing as kool-aid overdose? Geez... ....yah, I remember having to change the channel and then gettin' smacked in the head because it took me so long! And remember those roters that clicked while the antenna turned lol! |

When we first got cable in 1967, we had channells 2 thru 13 and thought we were hott shots. actually got to see tv from Pittsburgh, Stubbenville, Youngstown,and 5 more Cleveland stations. no remote though. My dad would fall asleep, we would change the channel, he would wake up and say to us...Hey I was watching that...He always fell asleep when the Cleveland Indians were getting their azzzzzzzzes beat.

THe bands: Journey Cheap Trick Hall & Oats I had a Mrs. Beasley Doll Who remembers etch a sketch - My son got one for Christmas used to be really good are riding my bike backwards The Park all day was a treat for us when I was younger good lawd, I remember all this and soooooooo much more!!!
