I love the system, but this is the third damn time it's broken on me. I play maybe once a week now and it certainly sucks. I got the red lights of doom last night and I know they'll probably replace it, but it's gonna cost me 30-40 dollars to ship it out. I'm sick of Microsoft's poor manufacturing on my x-box that I have to keep getting it fixed!

Yes it could be worse, but why should I pay 400 dollars for a product then every 3 months another 40 for their mistakes?

Yea my friends never had to replace theirs. I don't know why it suddenly decided to break I barely play it anymore.

I have a Wii and it's much better then my 360 (in terms of lasting and games).

yeah, after my 4th 360 died, i made the jump to PS3. not as many games right now but its a beautiful machine. all the things i can do with it.
my 360s all had the 3 red lights and i tried this trick, it worked too. i promise. it gave each of them a few more months of life. never hurts to try it. just be careful and watch it while you do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31tvXu34T8Q&feature=related |

Eh I called them today they're gonna send me a prepaid label. COoling fan?? No.. they told me today it could be my power supply causing problems.

Welcome to the wonderfully sucky world of Microsoft! It is a company who thinks they are great, but will suck you dry to fix THEIR problems! It is not the greatest ride bbut enjoy it anyways!

I've been through this twice already microsoft knows the xbox 360 sucks hence why they keep fixing mine with no hesitation.

That's how microsoftie does it! They rope you in to a system or software that isn't quite complete in the codes and patch later to get it on the market quick, same with the 360. and a lot of the games, look at all the current network issues, I'm just trying to get my Merc. on in COD4 and the rooms keep locking up! You don't pay for all that!

I've had mine for a while now, and 2 days ago it brokededed. So I'm totally pissed. It's never broken before. Never. And I'm a HUGE gamer-so It's basically my life. What am I supposed to do now?!?  I'mma die...

get a wii thats what I did
  and it NEVER breaks! my tv fell on it (a like 100 pound hdtv) and it's still up and running Wii rocks!
