“Walking Alone”

I walk this road alone.
I have learned to be on my own.
No matter what I’ve been dealt with in life.
I have learned how to deal with the strife.
You see I know what I want.
And I don’t have a past that will haunt.
Not that I have done everything right.
No way not by a long sight.
But I am happy with what I have done.
Sure there are something’s I wish I could have undone.
But don’t we all have those.
Things we wish we could just dispose.
Throw them out the window and never see.
But you just deal with them and let them be.
Then you come to a point.
You stop letting things disappoint.
You set your goal.
And sit down and search your soul.
You decide what you’re looking for.
And if you find them you will not ignore.
But in no way will you take any less.
You see we learn to express.
What we are looking for and if we find it.
We want one that is legit.
No longer are we willing to play the games.
We have had those played on us in past times.
You see we are at that point that being alone.
Is better than to settle instead we will remain on our own.
For we would rather it be that way.
Then to be with someone that will stray.
We seem to as we get older look more closely.
Even though we are alone we are not lonely.

That was really good Kristi but you forget one thing...we may not be there in body but we are there in spirit...Hope you have a good Christmas for you and your family. From Dena and myself, we'll always be here for you.

Very nicely done. Like a good book, I see a little bit of all the things that matter in this one. It's good to see so many willing to write from their hearts.

Noden that is my wish for you girl to learn to walk alone to be able to stand up for Noden and learn to live for Noden once again. You can do it girl I have no doubt.
