Not me dude, Ive been an avid deer hunter for over 30 years and with the number of diseases(sp)known to exist in deer on the increase i,m dang sure not gona be downing any raw venison. A friend i play cards with is a game biologist for the VA dept. of game and inland fisheries, He told me outa the blue a couple of years ago to make sure we cook venison to at least 135 degrees. He had it on good authority that their may be a potential hazard to people from eating under cooked venison. He said u dont need to cook venison til it turns to cinders but to at least rare.
