A time of holy celebration A baby born to save our nation As we all remembered the Christ child I was singing to my own baby meek and mild As a Christian who celebrates Christmas I was given a present that would last I prepared for Christmas like any other Not aware I would soon become a mother She was born ahead of time The little bundle who was mine My Ceilidh arrived early The first girl for 38 years in her father's family So that my faith would not roam God in his wisdom has placed her in my home as a gift and constant reminder Her birth has strenghtened my belief This child, born to me on Christmas eve For our special little lady who will be 19 tomorrow We love you tons..............Michael, mummy and Shannon
