Curt Schilling is one of the most vocal players in baseball. I am a die hard Red Sox fan, but Schilling should shut up. He wants Clemens to give back the Cy Young awards that were tainted. He bashed Bonds earlier this year. What does everybody else think?

I say to hell with Roger Clemens. He is a cheater, it's not that big of a suprise to me. His career, much like Bonds had a major resurgance in his late 30's and early 40's. Clemens last 2 years in Boston were not very good at all, then all of a sudden when he got to Toronto it took off again then in NY and Houston. Most players especially pitchers start declining late in their careers not improve. Whatever happens to him he deserves at this point.

My own personal opinion is I am sure alot more sports stars use illegal steroids and just havent been caught. They should just let him keep the award.

i think schilling is right, if the nickle chasing clemens didnt do it, why did it take him a week to speak out, no hall of fame for bostons most famous cab driver. He always goes to the highest fare, but now hes going with BONDS, MAGUIRE, PALMEIRO, PETTIT AND TEJADA, to the hall of shame

I think Schilling should shut his mouth. He faked a bloody sock in '04 to get media attention and he's denying that.

His own teammate ratted him out about it, but he keeps denying it. Look at the evidence. For as long as he pitched that game, why didn't the stain spread any further? Right now, there are people petitioning the HoF to test the sock to prove it isn't his blood.

I think Mirabelli was joking about the fake sock. Millar was too. Maybe it stopped bleeding during the game, there wasn't a ton of blood on the sock.

nothing to stop them, I do think they will add santana by the time its done. Just to keep up with the Tigers.......as long as they keep ellsbury I will be o.k. with that.

Beckett isn't going to win 20 games again. And there's no guarantee everyone is going to perform above average like they did in '07 (ie. Ellsbury's insanely good play the last 2 months or Delcarmen and Okajima posting sub-2.50 ERA's)

i think if u have to put an astrick next to bonds and his recored u have to do the same to clemmens. don't give back the awards because apparently everybody was doind it. i don't care if they were or not it is their bodies and if they want to destroy it then so be it. but don't treat bonds like a sriminal and not clemmens

There is no guarantee any team can do that. I'm sure Beckett can win 20 games again, he's gotten used to the American League. Not many teams are making monster moves with the exception of the Tigers. Red Sox bullpen is still very deep with talent (Delcarmen, Okajima, Timlin, Papelbon and a few others). It's a wait and see thing. Manny Ramirez didn't perform above average neither did Big Papi (power numbers down from '06).

Schilling is a class 'A' jerk. Always was, always will be. I haven't heard him say Bonds should give back any MVP awards & there's much more evidence of his steroid use. Could this have something to do with jealousy?

I doubt Beckett will win 20 games. It's possible, but I doubt it. Why is everyone so big on the Tigers offseason moves? Renteria is losing range, Cabrera sucks defensively, and Willis has been getting rocked in the NL. Coming to the AL central could end his career. And look at 2005. The White Sox were picked to finish 4th, but won the World Series while sweeping the Red Sox in the ALDS. So don't start celebrating an '08 championship just yet.




Possibly. Schilling is a good pitcher, but I constantly hear that off the field he is a conceited ***hole. Even when he's on the field he doesn't seem like a team player.
