You know what’s even more freaky when your bank or credit union offers you to sign up for accidental death and dismemberment insurance . The credit union I’m with does but I’ve never signed up for it. Has anyone on here had this offer?

On a serious note, actual funeral plans are a scam. If you put the same money away in a separate bank account, you will likely end up with many times more money, that you can then maintain, and use the excess while still alive. And no hidden clauses will take it away when your circumstances change, like you move to another place to live, or miss a payment.
Dismemberment insurance ? Sounds very specific. A "member" could be anything. If I was dissed of my member, no insurance would help that loss. Might as well call it quits then. |

True Notbeold but I do have 2 life insurance policies, one I have through Prudential which I pay for every 3 months (and it’s accumulated interest over some years) and another through work and on both my parents are my beneficiaries. As long as you’re a member of the credit union I’m with it offers it to all members no matter what your profession but even so I’m not leaving them.
