And while I've never done it, there's usually comparison of relationships going on in their head, girls and guys alike, so unfortunately if a girl has been hurt before she may be worried of getting hurt again....which just leads to problems in the relationship that could be amazing....Though that's just my sleepy headed explanation I wish you the best of luck on here!
