well if they give a christmas bonus then they are showing a

In the 80's One company I worked for handed out cases of 21 year old scotch or a mixed case of European wines, Tickets to the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show, complete with airfare and accomodations at Ceasers and a cash bonus...

No wonder I had a drinking problem...

my christmas bonus is off for school and holiday pay for working all day christmas eve.

I've worked for the same place for over 28 years now. I've never gotten a christmas bonus. I work for a communications firm, oh well....

We got the usual...A Big Shafter for the keister ..Also lumps of coal for the management .. What a wonderful company to work for.

But we did get next week off, even though I`m off on extended leave because of an accident...So even if I wasn`t off work ,I would be.

i work for biglots in the furniture section. so i get $7 an hour to carry furniture and no christmas bonus

Gift certificate for $20 for grocery store to purchase a holiday meal. A free meal at the job. Cash out of sick time you didn't use during the year. Just found out you can use vacation time if you call in sick,so that you can keep the sick time for the payout. When I drove a truck for a food distributor the drivers got. $200, 2 pairs of Levi's jeans, a very nice double knit shirt with the Co's logo, and a turkey or ham and a half gallon of egg-nog. That was 25 years ago.

The year my boss decided to give his employees frozen turkeys and whisky but no casg bonus was a bad judgement call. Especially when his employees made him 28 million in profits. Everyone except me- I went home- got really drunk and angry and threw all the frozen turkeys through all the windows in the owners mansion. I thought it was funny. Don't want to ask the boss if they are cooking a turkey over the holidays.
