Inebriated from the wine of certainty
Cleromancy with same sided dice
Augury practiced with plastic birds
Wincing of artificial eyes
Telling me the color of my soul
Reading minds with minds
Like a book trying to read a book
Like a tooth trying to chew itself
Pirates of predictability
Forcing others to walk the planks
In their eyes
Frequently in error
Yet always sure
Alas!

A sign in the heavens
An omen of love
A blinding light that opens eyes
All ground for being

Sitting in space like a star
Groundless of reason to stand upon
Rooted in nothingness
Being everything
Reason swallowed up by love
And justice born the offspring of impermanence
Hope emerging like a rose blooming
Opening to the light of mystery
All things possible in a land of uncertainty
Melting into trust
Substance of hope oozing out
Evidence for the blind skeptic
Minds settled
Hearts resolved
Ambition slain
Liberty released
