if you ignore peoples messages?

why should i deactivate? i have plenty of people on here I talk to. I'm just trying to figure out why people ignore messages

well im talking about just emails that are asking how are you doing or saying hi nothing weird about sex or dirty stuff or inappropriate behavior just emails to introduce yourself or to see if someone wants to talk

I try to answer all my emails but if somone emails me about something and I said clearly in my profile the oppisite then I'll ignore.

You know, there are local people I see running through "New Matches" every day, and some of them have been here as long as I have, and I wonder why they ever signed up in the first place. They never post in the forums, they don't respond to e-mail, so, yeah, what's the point?

On the other hand, they clearly didn't put more than 9 seconds worth of thought into their profiles, so it's not like they've made any sort of significant time investment....!

I agree cats why can't you just simply send back a message that says sorry you're not my type I think it'd be a lot more considerate then just straight out ignoring someone.

I'll ignore certain types of messages, but as long as it's respectful and friendly I'll respond. But sometimes, us guys forget that the ladies of the site, just like any simmilar site, are going to get the worst end of disrespectful messages & would only be empowering the shauvinism by responding;^]

Ok well I've answered your question 100 times. Here's 101. Why? Because its so easy to ignore people when you're safely behind a computer screen in the comfort of your own home. YOU haven't attracted someones attention enough to have them show interest. Hate to be brutal but that's the way it is. Want my help? Just ask. I'm not in your shoes but I can give some great advice. I always answer my emails. It might be a few days cuz Im not on much. I sent out an email today and got nothing back...oh well his loss not mine!!

Humm I never ignore mine and want the ones that do ignore your e-mails are not worth the time of day. So don't let those get to you just brush it off and move on.
