My ex is always telling me about all these women he meets. He also lies and tells me he's got all this money now and a great new job...he's just jealous because without him my life didn't come crashing down after we split and I'm happy.

I haven't told my ex about any girl friends, because the divorce is not final yet. (plus it would really hurt her at this point) I don't discuss how much money I have because she will try to get more of it. I don't want to put my kids in the middle of "us". I make an effort not to do things or talk about things that would aggravate an already difficult situation.

Most of the time, it's never been an issue because we never speak to each other again after the breakup!
There have been a few occasions where I stayed friends with an ex, and in those cases, we try to be supportive of each other rather than competitive. |
