need honest opinions??????

Iam divorced, I have 50/50 custody with my x, of my 6 year old daughter. He has her during the school months monday thru friday, me: weekends and every summer plus vacations and holidays. I get 3 full weeks during the summer (7days). Ive been giving my x extra days with our daughter but he's unwilling to be flexable on his days during the summer. So its hard for me to plan on visiting family out of town.

So the question is: Do I stop giving him extra time or just plan around his time ?
Iam honesty more worried about my daughter well being with the time issues, but how flexable should I be???

I think whats most important here is how your daughter feels. She is still young so its hard to tell though. I think you should just follow the custody rules & stick to them. And you both will have to work around it because thats what was decided when you divorced.

My sister is going through a similar situation and she always tried to be nice to make it easier on her son.. He ex is never flexible and tries to mess her days up any way he can.. She finally got mad and doesn't give in anymore... It's made him stop and think... But different people would react differently...
