Hmmmmmmmmm a simple word We think of Turkey and all the dressing Sharing some pie and a few stories I ponder this word Search within it’s meaning Thanks I say to you For all the love and kindness shown my way Giving I do in return With loving wishes to your warm your soul ThanksGiving a day for family and friends Sharing in the beauty Toasting for good will to men Thanks for the laughter and tears we have shed Giving all of me in the name of a hungry child ThanksGiving a word I ponder Meanings,,, different to some Yet alike to so many Christmas time upon us again ThanksGiving lost in the bustle my friends Thanks for health, guidance and security Giving a smile, blanket or two Giving bread maybe some stew Give from your hearts upon Christmas Night Give to those who need, strength, love and Light Give of yourself Give of your Soul… Give the gift of Life Give The Gift of Hope …… |

Thats right Denise....it shouldn't be just one day...it should be for every day. We should all be thankful for what we do have and give to those that do not, even if it's just a little of your time.

For me thanksgiving is every monday...and christmas every tuesday...I feel that they should come around at LEAST 52 times a year, so I make it happen
