3) Why is he letting Satan governing now? I mean why would he do that - Its like he's trying to turn us against him.
That’s not the way things are. There is no such thing as sin and evil. Those are manmade concepts. What we call evil is simply anything we don’t like. The fact is that life simply wouldn’t be any fun if it weren’t for the fact that things go wrong. It’s the challenging nature of life that gives it meaning. What would it mean to accomplish something, if there was nothing to overcome? How could anything produce a thrill if there isn’t something to risk? A perfect life would be utterly boring with no meaning whatsoever. There would be nothing to work toward because if anything required an effort it would be less than ‘perfect’. God created the universe just as it is within boundaries. Things can go wrong. People can’t do ‘bad’ things. But ‘bad’ is a relative term. All God’s ways are judgments. Not by judging us, but by allowing us to judge our reality. God built-in the boundaries. No one tolerates more pain than they can deal with, even if they might think they can’t, it’s not true. God made it so that the human body will go into shock if we can’t handle the pain, or even die outright. But there is no such thing as death. No one really dies. You didn’t come into this life when you were born. You are spirit. You have always been around. You existed before you body was were born, and you will exist after you’re body dies. There is no heaven or hell. All there is, is life. Eternal reincarnation. I’m not making this up. This is the basis of many Eastern mystical religions. It’s the pantheistic view that the universe is god and we are a child of the universe. A child of God. God isn’t an egotistical jealous dictator in the sky waiting to pass judgments on all the little separate egos that he has created. That egotistical view of God as a king who rules over a kingdom is medieval mythology created by men who thought in terms of kings and kingdoms. The dream of ruling over people is an egotistical dream of man. Why would God want to rule over humans? Why would God be obsessed with the thought of men bowing down and worshiping him and becoming his servants? Why would God need servants? Isn’t God supposed to be all powerful??? In the pantheistic view God is this universe. God gave us the gift of life so that we can give to God the gift of living it. God experience life through us. Every thought, emotions, and experience we gave, God has through us. God is omniscient though us, and through all living things, and even non-living things in the universe. The pantheistic view is a much more loving God. Her love is truly unconditional. No one can ever be separated from God. No one goes to hell. There’s no need for any such place. The pantheistic God is with us every moment of out lives. She came along for the ride. Pantheism. It’s not just for breakfast anymore! http://www.pantheism.net/ By the way, this link is merely an example of what pantheism is about, I’m not necessarily supporting this link or any other specific organization. There is another side of this......abra God bless ya.......but you are no better then what you think I am.......You can believe what you believe but don't shove it down others throats..sound familar God in his infinite wisdom.....created the universe and all that as in it. Satan was God's right hand angel so to speak....He was a powerful powerful angel....His mistake was thinking he was better then God...not smart on satan's part....So God had to punish this bad lil angel and banished him....Guess what people HE IS BACK and reeking havok on this planet big time. And rest assured that every bad, negative, ugly thing that is on this planet is of satan not God. And to say there is no such thing as death.....please.....and what would anyones purpose be if there wasn't something else....you live you die...you live you die...I think not. And believe me you there is a heaven and a hell......because again if you want to believe that you are just here....you live you die you live you die....and that it.....there has to be a consequence for everything.....If your an evil evil person and then you just die.......well that makes no sense.....but to live an evil life and then go to hell for eternity and live in the pits of hell, that makes a lil more logical sense. And reincarnation. If you even tell me that I was a dog that reincarnated to a person.....I think I will vomit right here and now. If according the the World order...at least here on earth man is the top of the food chain...so what the heck are we going to reincarnate to.....You have to at least reincarnate to something that your going to grow or learn more then you were before so.......no think not. And again for what purpose does reincarnation have if you live and die and live and die and live and die...what is the ultimate purpose of that. And again God is very jealous......He doesn't want anyone to have any other God then him. And judgement you bet their will be. I wish sometimes I could just be around and take a picture of every single person who thinks that they can do what they want in life with no judgement.....Your taught from a very young age that everything you do has a consequence...yet people believe that you will not...and you just live and die and live and die......make sense....hmmmmm God loves us.....He wants us to love Him....simple....Love Him, Love his son....whom took all of your and my sin......and that it.....pretty simple again.....And you will live with God, and Christ for all of eternity......I find that much more exciting then living, dying, coming back to life to die and live and die. God wants us to know the purpose of His being....the purpose of his creating all that is.......And with the Bible all the answers are there.....to any question you may possible have....it is in the inspired word of God. If the pantheistic view God is this universe. God gave us the gift of life so that we can give to God the gift of living it. Why are so many people doing such a bad job of living it...and who really cares because you will die, live, die, live, die, live... God's Love has only two conditions....Love him more then anything and above anything else.....Love His Son with all your heart and soul......Because all is given to you through the Son.....Thats it......so simple....yet so misunderstood. |

God and Jesus are not separated if they are always a part of the same triune entity, according to some Christians.
This means that God loved God above all else. So is God saying to love 'God' above all else? Or is the lesson a parable, and God is saying to love yourself above all else? Perhaps, even taking the 'parable' further, might we not also think that if all humanity is the prodigy of the only two 'created' creatures, that we are being 'shown' to love all humanity as we would love ourselves. If this were, in fact, the lesson, than there would be little to fight about, for no matter what else one 'chose' to believe, all they really need do it love all humanity as they would love themselves. If all people believed that their 'salvation' or 'continued existence' depended only on how much we loved ourselves, by the reflection of that love on others, then I expect we would be meeting every rule of every religion. If not, then I would expect that the rules of those religions are causing the problems within society. This, is clearly the biggest contradiction of the Christian fundmentalist faith as I see it. If this is offensive, my apologies, just following a logical train of thought. |

If this is offensive, my apologies, just following a logical train of thought. God says what he means and means what he says.... When God says Love me above all that is exactly what it means. There is no room for interpretation there. The Lord God also clearly states that the only way to Him is through his Son. No parable there either. Since God brought Christ to live as a human and he died with our sins.......then no mistaken the only way to the Father and to Heaven is through the Son. And if you want to look at it through God's eyes you Love yourself as your neighbor not as yourself. And plain and simple if you put yourself at all on the same level as God or Christ......well frankly not a good thing.....We could never come close to the Lamb of God, no way no how. Redy what is so confusing about salvation......You give your Life to Christ.....Love him with all your heart....and through his dying on the cross for us you will be giving salvation. Does it make more sense to you to live, die, reincarnate, live die, reincarnate.....what possibly could that purpose be?.....and how the heck as a human at the top of the food chain do we reincarnate too......What could we reincarnate to? |

Jesus didn't die spiritually, that hasn't changed. There is no contradiction.
Oh but there is a contradiction. You initially said,… 1. God's laws cannot be changed. 2. God decided that anyone who commits a sin must die, physically and spiritually. 3. God's mercy is that God allowed Jesus to die for our sins. And now you are claiming that Jesus didn’t die spiritually Sorry hon, but that’s a contradiction to the idea that the laws cannot be changed which was your original premise. Hon? I didn't know you cared! There is no contradiction, because Jesus died a physical death (everything in our universe dies a physical death), but did Jesus sin? No, so Jesus overcame death. If you actually tried to learn about Christianity instead of trying to find hole, even if you didn't become a Christian, at least you would be so offensive to Christians.
I’m knowledgeable of Christianity in-depth, and this is why I know that the mythology is inconsistent. You seem to always be trying to make out like as if people who don’t believe in Christianity simply haven’t studied it. Nothing could be further from the truth. I’ve studied the religion for over 40 years. In fact, just the other day I had to set you straight on the interpretation of Job. You told me that my interpretation held no merit yet it wasn’t my interpretation at all. It was the religion’s own most popular interpretation. Yeah, seven years ago, before new information came to light five years ago. It was outdated information. Just admit that and move on. I have been a Christian (as you are SO fond of pointing out) only a year and I frequent the most up to date apologetics sites. So I never saw that flawed interpretation. I’m simply addressing the history of humanity. Why anyone would take personal offense to an honest assessment of history is completely beyond me. This is my perspective. If you find that to be personally offensive there isn’t much I can do about it. I’m used to hanging around scholars and academia where the intellectual pursuit of truth is openly accepted. Man, you need to get on Def Comedy Jam or something, because you are killing me. Sorry 'spider', Don't want to interrupt this enlightning dialogue you have engaged with yourself, but I'm afraid I must have fallen behind with all the new technology. I keep clicking on all tose yellow faces you keep posting as replies, figuring they must be 'audio' messages containing some form of intelligent, civilized, and forwarding replies on your part, ... but no luck!!! Nothing at all! Just those silly talking faces looking stupid, and saying nothing. Could you please tell me how I can get these silly faces to deliver your insightful messages. Failing that, coiuld you post the written versions of your, insipiring I'm sure, replies. Sometimes, all this new technology fails us, and can has us come across as quite rude, uncivilized, and impertinent. Imagine that, you rude, uncivilized, and impertinent!!! So unfair! Don't forget, ... the trick to 'unlock' the replies from those silly yellow faces, or failing that, the written form will do just fine. Thank you 'spider' ! :) (that's not a 'locked' audio message by the way. It's just a smiling symbol from a 'friend' to a 'friend') |

Sorry, I know these emoticons are tricky...that could have meant that I was stuttering...or hiccuping...or cold. Also, I just wanted to compliment you for your even-handedness, in addressing Abras comments insulting and mocking Christianity. |

It means I'm laughing hysterically at what Abra posted. Sorry, I now these emoticons are tricky...that could have meant that I was stuttering...or hiccuping...or cold. No hidden audio messages?!?!? No written messages either?!?!? You mean no form of intelligence, no means of civility, nor are there any forwarding or insightful replies coming from you?!?!? Nothing other than those silly yellow faces looking stupid, and saying nothing?!?!? Why do you post?!?!? Also, I just wanted to compliment you for your even-handedness, in addressing Abras comments insulting and mocking Christianity. The only fireworks of insults and mockery of Chrisitianity is to be found in your attitude towards those whom don't share your personnal views 'spider'. That is the only 'crime' Abra has committed in YOUR world: posted an opposing view. Your comments and attitude alone are insulting and mocking Christianity. |

//Nothing other than those silly yellow faces looking stupid, and saying nothing?!?!?
Why do you post?!?!? // It seems pointless to answer rather "stupid" questions wouldnt you agree Voil? If we all spent the time answering every stupid question, we would be here all day. Alot of question 'Agnostic' and 'Atheist' people post in fact arnt questions but back-handed bashing statements. SO silly faces are no sillier than some posts i have seen. I as a Christian brother of Spiders, he is in no way a mockery to me. Maybe if you were Christian youd have grounds to consider such mockery? |

It breaks my heart to see so many "intelligent, schooled" people talking about religion and esspecially Christianity as though we are just trying to win them or others over for our own gain. Like if we do it, we get a trip to Hawaii. What is wrong with believing in Jesus? What is wrong with the way we live? If a true believer lives the way Jesus asked him to, how does that offend so many "schooled" people. Blind faith? If I was to say anything about my faith, it would be that God has proven Himself many, many times over my life. So in that case, it is not blind. Also, I have had my trials in my faith and studied the "evidance" against God, and I'm sorry, but it takes way more faith to not believe in God than id does to believe in him. And in the end, I am taking my chances living as He told me to live, and worshiping Him. Because even if I am wrong, what harm was done? But if I am right....where does that leave the non-believers?
