I'm so glad to read such positive replies.

Sometimes, I feel like I'm about a thousand years old -- I look around Publix or Wal-Mart and think I'm way older than everybody else in the store. And then I worry that I'm too old for men my own age, followed by wondering if my sex life is over and maybe I should just buy my white purse and big sunglasses and start traveling.

The voices in my head can be ruthless, let me tell you. :)

Ladies in their 40's are not old or to be cast aside. I am a 40 year old man about to turn 41 in march. I'mk not that interested in relationships with any 18 year old to early 20's. I want a lady who I could be able to have a decent conversation with and a good relationship with. I have a 21yr old nephew and a 18 yr old niece. If i were to date someone their age they would get really uncomfortable and I would be really uncomfortable. When i am walking with my future lady I don't want the people to comment to her it's nice you're spending time with your dad. I want the people to see a loving couple. So ladies in your 30's and 40's there is a man who want to be with you me. I'll be friends with the 18 years to early 20's crowd.

I'll admit I tend to go for women younger than me, or around my age if they look really young for their age. It's just because I look so young. My aunt looks really young for her age, when she goes somewhere with her eldest son (there's a good 25yr difference there) people think that they are husband and wife, how creepy is that.

Over 40 being put out to pasture. I'm thinkin no lol. If you feel you are being put out to pasture then most times you are the one putting yourself there I think. I am almost 48 and still have alot of life and hope left for myself. There is so much to do still and I intend to live my life to the fullest :). Women Over 40 can have or do anything they set their minds to. Well okay I think I am done now. Have a great Weekend All.

Wow. My new wonderfull woman and I are teaching each other new things all the time. It just happens that I am 37, and she is......older than me. All of our friends say we look and act like a couple of teenagers. Just have fun.

Only 38 here but I for one will be kicking like the devil before they put me in a pasture. Shortly after I turn 40 the boy will be going off to the forces or college, and as much as I've treasured my role as MOM, I'm looking forward to the freedom that will ensue. The first 20 years I was a kid, the second 20 I was Mom, the third 20 I get to be a woman enjoying all that life has to offer. You sure won't catch me in any dang pasture! In fact, good luck catching me at all!
