“To Love or Not to Love’

At times our hearts break.
We wonder why we partake.
For at times it seems.
Love is only in our dreams.

So why do we jump back in.
Just to get kicked in the shin.
For when it is over it causes so much pain.
Tell me what did we really gain?

Sorry I can’t seem to see.
How love is suppose to be.
I sit and listen to all.
And later sit back and recall.

The things they say is so great.
But then is it worth a debate.
For one never knows.
The way love goes.

Maybe it will leave you feeling so high.
You think you can touch the sky.
Or it will leave you so low.
As it hits you like a blow.

Does anyone really know?
How it will go.
I think not.
For it will tie you up in a knot.

It can bring you down.
Make you want to get drunk on the town.
Or it can leave you with stars in your eyes.
Thinking you just won a prize.

There will be some day maybe we all.
Will have a love we can call.
We will have that one that will come our way.
And will be here to stay.

We always keep striving for what keeps us alive and vibrant and energized. I try to remember when getting involved-someone once told me to watch people's actions-not their words-because words come easy to some. Your love is coming Kristi.

Kristi...never give up and never stop believing. I almost did and look what happened.

HMMM to love or not to love..no brainer..I am a much happier woman feeling loved and to give my love lightens my heart and soul..Somewhere out there is a love to call your own, perhaps right under your nose,,once again...go for it.
I think through music sometimes and the first song I thought of was "Somewhere Out There"..An American Tail..

As we all keep trying for that love we think we can one day have. Don't let it fool you though, the beginning is always to great to later learn that it wasn't at all what you thought.
