Topic: The Stage Is Set | |
---|---|
(taking the puzzle out) I'm thinking in dreams Does that make any sence? The jaws of insight have found us. We love, We cry, and always look for something more. The stage is set. the band isn't here yet But we can wait. Dancing around. the clowns are sing now as they walk on air. A fifth of gin to help you get through. The king smiled at the lady as she walked by. The sky is alive. Watch it bleed over the trees. (Ey man, you want to know what's here? This is five years of tears). You are apart of the human race. Get up and cheer about it! The lights are turned ot, and the musics all right now. Do you know anyone here? Did we see any of these people before? I want to know if you care about me. I want what I need and what I wish for. Here comes the master blaster. Who is he any how? Can you show me the way Through your mazes? Let's adorn our lives and take this knife out of your soul. (the puzzle begins to come together) Where do I go from here? Where are you going? Destroying our brains. Making a change. Then showing off what's not there. What do you believe in? I believe in love, lust, sex, and death amongst all the rest. How do you feel? Day after day we go through the slow grind. Stay away! If you don't leave I'm going to beg you to say. Where was the car going? Where did they stop first? "We tried to stop him. We really did." (A stoned death game in a car) The horse was white and ran into the wind. The dawn crawled over the night. Ninety around a turn, we didn't learn until the car was under water. (A child's question within the night. Why do the stars shine so bright when they're so far away?) Who shot the song bird Everyone cried when he died.. A load of feelings tear into you. What a roll. What a goal. What a hole. (The first scene is erected) There's a world inside my brain. It may sound insane, but there it still is. This is me, can you see what I mean? Here? Why? I'm someone who's gone into something else. Where can we go? A way down the road. The dove flew into the sun-set. He couldn't tell if it was the way it seemed or not. The bottle of Jack was empty. Who drank the last of it? Was it you? I'm looking for something. What? I don't know. I'll tell you if I find it. Let's listen to some music. We can play two at a time. Or if you want. Four at once. This music, you heard it before? The times you crawled out the door. Or just layed on the floor. Day follows night. Night follows day. It's always the same. No change. It's lonely on this hill. Does anyone know or care? Do you like the pain? Did you ever feel it? Did you know the rain is apart of me? The stage is set with all colored lights. Space and time are right here in my hand. I'm telling you some of the stuff you know already. It helps you to grow by knowing it. Here we are once again. Looking for another friend. (The puzzle is completed) Life can be anything and everything. One thing goes into another. One stream of a dream. One line in the middle of time. (the puzzle falls apart) The stage is set. The sage is here. We go through halls, doors. Smoke fills the room. The sky falls on the sea. We watch and get lost in a moment of knowledge. The monster got fried, numb. The gun of death was pointed at his head. Now he's dead. The stage is set. The windows kept. We're amongst all the rest who'll dance and sing in the fine yard. Com'on,. Let's take a walk on the beach. on the black sand. Look out over the sea. watch the crystal ships sail across the ocean. Their white sails cut the sky. We can just be together. We don't have to pretend to be alive. How can I escape? How can I get out of this place? What's down the road more time? What crime did I commit to suffer all this? Will you turn the key, unlock the door? Do I have to go through this one more time? Or will I die on the vine? Well, two type-Os. The first stanza is three lines not two. "The jaws of insight have found us" being the third line.
Stanza first line is "The lights are turned out". The visual aspects of the poem aren't there as well. Some of the lines are staggered. Which even though I did type them out that way have not stayed in place. |
