At times it seems that humanity is misery and pain. Verses upon versus of song dedicated to suffering, heartache and dispair. Poets whose words cut us deep as we connect with the socery of their speech that resonates with our sorrowful or troubling circumstances. You find yourself asking why then humans still hang on to this existance. Why are there not more of them who chose to opt out before the alloted time is up. It is when you are in those moments of joy, laughter, kindness, connection, unity, love and peace that you realise these are the drugs that keep us coming back. Because despite all the flaws of this world there is a beauty in it. It is a contradiction of the good, the bad the beautiful, the ugly, the sweet, the bitter, bittersweet timelines. There is a feeling that where there is still life there is the hope that you can find the precious feeling of truly being alive even if at times it feels like brief dispites in between the negative aspects of existance that threaten to drown those who cannot push past them. It is this hope that keeps our hearts bleeding and still beating

Wow! Didn't expect that.

May I read them once again, slowly, now ..

As we connect with the sorcery of their speech that resonates with our sorrowful or troubling circumstances.

Why then humans still hang on to this existence.

There is a feeling that where there is still life there is the hope

It is when you are in those moments of joy, laughter, kindness, connection, unity, love and peace that you realize these are the drugs that keep us coming back.

Feeling of truly being alive even if at times it feels like brief despite(s) in between the negative aspects of existence that threaten to drown those who cannot push past them.

It is this hope that keeps our hearts bleeding and still beating

What keeps our hearts beating and bleeding .,,

The heart and kidneys work together to regulate blood flow through the heart . The renin -angiotensin-aldosterone hormone system is just one that comes into play to regulate blood voulume . Inotrooic agents such as adrenaline and noradrenaline help the heart to contract to produce blood pressure and heart rhythm . The valves of the heart prevent back flow of blood . The Sino atrial node is the pacemaker of the heart's conduction system which helps regulate heart beat . It is a very complex haemodynamic loop that works with the central nervous system to regulates myocardial cell activity ., that is the simplest explanation I can provide ..... you are welcome :wink: blondey waving

Ah, the Renin – Angiotensin System (RAS);

But the point is, it’s the thought of love or compassion that precedes the hormone release cycles isn’t it? Once the hormones are triggered (starter hormones) they may further increase the noradrenaline leading to increase in ‘volume of love’ or ‘compassion’ (love + sorrow) and this could avalanche unless we turned our attention away to some other things.

If it was just the RAS circuitry then love wouldn’t exist among humans beyond the mating and maternal instincts. We would have lived like house lizards; which also leads me to ask why do lizards so closely resemble dinosaurs? And then why did those dinosaurs go extinct all around the world?

The answer is simple; there was no love between them.

They grew so large and powerful that when the food resources ran out they began to eat each other up. It can still happen with humans (if & when our energy resources run out).

At least is not the love as described by humanists:

Verses upon versus of song dedicated to suffering, heartache and despair.

Oh by the way, did you know that Renin (protein) is extracted from the stomach of calves to make cheese? While in humans, it’s stored in our kidneys. In other words, we are not too far away from eating each other up.
