Tired, cold but thankful to be home. It started snowing this afternoon and in about a half an hour the roads were covered and bad. A truck on the expressway lost it and nearly took our rear end with him. He ended up spinning around twice before hitting a guard rail.

thanks guys, believe me, I was more than a little frightened... and white knuckling it all the way. One bonus I wasn't driving. Right now they are telling us how much more ice and snow we will be getting.

I love snow also, but it would be so much nicer if it would fall when it is say 70 degrees outside. I hate the ice also, that is what makes it so dangerous. The weather girl says that if the front goes this way we get rain, if it goes the other we get snow. Basically she said nothing.

(((John))) I think I am gonna turn in. I still have to get up at 6am. I have to cook more Rigatoni and meatballs for the auction tomorrow. I think I will skip out of the one on Monday. It is an outdoor set up and I don't look forward to sitting in several inches of snow, just to sell coffee. Have a great night and stay warm.
