Slipping into her jeans
Stuffing her feet into her boots Yanking the heavy sweater over her head The need to be free, the urge, yen and desire Running strong through her today Longing to climb upon her bike Allowing her hair to fly loose Screaming with the power of then engine between her legs The wind caressing her face like an old lovers hand The creak and groan of her leather as she moves, sweet music to her ears Standing now in the cold empty garage, staring at the space where her bike once stood Turning away with a tear in her eye, hands crammed into her pockets Climbing into his truck, its just not the same, cranking the music Window down, cigarette dangling from the corner of her lip Smoke curling around her head like a wreath as she sings along with the song The cold air rushing in, touching her face, shaking her from her reverie Driving along up to the farm, knowing he's there waiting, coffee ready, fresh from the shower, smellin all clean and yummy Pulling into his drive way, truck's gentle rumble alerting him she's there He comes out the door, coffee in hand, as she climbs out of the truck Smile on his face, as he pulls her in close, burying his nose into her hair Mornin my lil snugglebunny, he mumbles into her hair, she breaths his scent in deeply, as she mumbles, don't call me that you big jerk He laughs, you know you are my lil snugglebunny, and you know you love when I call you that She laughs, yeah I do, hand in hand they walk together into the house That longing for freedom, gone now, knowing deep inside that she is already free |
