The daughter of the store owner I work at came in today to offer me the assistant management position, or management if I prefer. She said they are extremely impressed with how I've been running the store by myself in the mornings and wanted me to know how much they appreciate me.

That's always nice to know your employer appreciates your work.. Is it something you're considering given that you're kinda wanting to head out again? |

I have to work someplace over the summer, it may as well be somewhere I'll get valuable experience for my future assignments. I started a thread "things to consider" to get some input and talk about the pros and cons. But I think I already made up my mind, haha. |

That I was exceptionally flexible. I reached into a Volvo semitractor, and inserted the top bolt into the starter. Yeah, I know, doesn't sound so earth shattering, does it?
Until you see what I didn't see, which was the starter itself. That one is all tucked in under five hoses and two wiring cables. The two guys that semi-regularly work on them, had never saw anyone do that before. I'd never done it before, myself. It was done all by feel. And I had to retrieve the dropped bolt off the top of the starter, which no one could see where it was dropped. Nope, not an earth shattering event. I'm not even a trained mechanic. I just like doing seemingly impossible tricks few can do. |

You'll be training your replacement next week. It was actually nice to hear, I was worried they wouldn't find someone before I left.
