maybewecan -- I used hangouts one time for extended conversation and exchanging photos. THEN I found out #1: google keeps ALL messages archived and keeps them FOREVER (not good) and #2 emailer was a scam I will never go to hangouts again.

I have Whatsapp alright, comes in handy to send free messages to friends and relatives abroad. But I would never give out my number to strangers Ditto regarding the use of Whatsapp and not sharing the number with strangers... Whatsapp has been very reliable... I have been also asked for my "hangout" app number...has anyone else been asked about hangout? Hangout? Are they not stopping that service? Coz nobody was using it? |

I get those requests a lot, and I don't use either of those apps. If someone asks me, I ignore them. Me too. I used whatsapp before but i uninstalled it because it does not have respect. I am ok with skype and hangout, however, i don't give my contact to many strangers. |
