There are a few but not many. I'm from the midlands and in about 8 years I've probably spoke to maybe a dozen at the most. They join, get bombarded by fake profiles and do one. Meaning that the vast magority of views you'll get aee fake profiles. Trying to get your email. If more actually participated in the forums, more would probably hang around. I find that outside the forums the majority of the conversations are rather stale. Maybe its just me lol Maybe I'm just not their type?

I too am from England. I've chatted with a few nice ladies but none from as close as a few miles from me. They tend to be in other part of the UK. You can tell the genuine ones as they don't ask for your e-mail address in the very first exchange of messages! Neither do they ask for money or for 'help' (which means money).
When an old bloke like me gets messages from attractive young ladies from the other side of the world, it's time to report and block them as they are not what they seem. You need perseverance but it will be worth it in the end. Good luck

Perseverance is putting it mildy. 99.9999999% of the time, if i receive a message from a profile that ive not in the forums. I assume they're fake and quite happily ignore them. Its usually the same request. " prove you're real contact me in @gmail and I'll send my pics etc..." I'm not even sure that I'm real. Give me a break?!

I had one of those - not an attractive young person but someone nearer my own age with no photo. I said I'd chat if she posted a photo. The reason given for no photo was that most are fake anyway. Bizarre or what! A little later that profile was deactivated. First one of those I've seen. Usually there is at least one picture of a young female. C'est la vie and que serra, serra, etc
