Hello All

I have decided to re-post my poems here all of them, they are all on here but from 10 years ago...

here they are

As I walk through the path of life,
I sometimes cross a path of light,
Every so often a darkness falls,
But the path I'm on it has no walls,

So choosing to contine in the grand old stroll,
I quickly deviate, to regain control,
The paths are winding, wide and long,
But I continue walking this path I'm on.

Another path approaches,
Just up ahead,
Do I take the dark path,
Or the light one instead.

There are no signs here to help me decide,
So choosing the lighter, I continue my stride.
I'm sure there a future, on either of paths,
But I look to the light side, and not to the past.

Above me is a cloud called distance,
It's dark and heavy and bleak,
Though the sun is still shining above it,
The light it lets through is quite meek.

The distant sound of thunder,
The rain that falls from my eyes,
The storm that just makes me wonder,
Will She ever be by my side.

The cloud of distance is waiting,
Wanting to be a blue sky,
Will I ever forget her,
Not till the day that I die.

Someday the cloud will be broken,
That heavy heavenly mist,
For it will stand no more chances,
The day I can give her a Kiss.

Every day I think of,
Out of touch friends,
People I thought would be with me,
Right till the end,

I know they are out there,
Living their lives,
wondering why I have to,
be not by their side.

Some I have no reasons,
To temper my loss,
Some I understand them,
But it's done at a cost.

People I once cherished,
and have missed oh so bad,
Makes me so longful,
Of the friendship we had.

I sit here and write this,
I understand not,
and it makes me more thankful,
The friends that I've got.

To those that are missing,
In my life day to day,
I hope you remember,
This friend's here to stay!

Someday I will find the one,
The one that will be my soulmate,
The one that will let me love them,
The one that will let me cuddle,
The one that will not be afraid,
The one that will always have a ready smile,
The one that will come to me when sad,
The one that will want my touch,
The one that will need my kiss,
The one that will cheer me up,
The one that will wake me up,
The one that will become a part of me.

Someday.....

People come into my life,
And then they make me smile,
The laugh and giggle with delight,
And keep me for a while.

The talk as if they have no fear,
and then they pass on love,
They say goodbye without a tear,
And I am crying and give up.

Then the day comes along,
I meet someone new,
My life's a song.
I say hello how do you do.

but I know it will be the same,
They laugh and smile,
It's all a game.
I'll be crying again in a while.

I fell in love with her,
She was not ready,
I felt so much for her,
She was not ready,

I had sparks inside,
She was not ready,
I had a rainbow heart,
She was not ready,

I had hopes and dreams,
She was not ready,
I had a truthful heart,
She was not ready.

I tried,
she didn't
I cried,
She would not,

I'm broken and more,
She's still in my heart,

She's still all I want.

There is a Rose,
In my heart that loves,
One that shines,
over all the above.

She's so special,
She's so nice,
She's the one for me,
There is no price.

One day she'll know,
One day she'll see,
I'm falling in love,
I pray she loves me,

There is just one Rose,
a Flower of mine,
She's perfect for me,
She's one of a kind!

I love her....

Thanks, I wrote them for myself. But I posted them here 10 years ago.
