If you think there's a liberal bias in the media, please read this book:
Lapdogs: How the Press Rolled Over for Bush by Eric Boehlert Then tell me if you still feel the same way. |

It goes both ways, but IMO it leans more conservative!

NBC finally caved to running a pro-military ad after large amounts of mail, phone calls, and e-mail flooded them. They claimed that because the group behind the pro-military, thanking our troops ad was done by a conservative group it was far too political. An ad thanking our troops is far too political?
The media swings left, big time. We have Hollywood putting out filth movies, that do HORRIBLE in the box office yet they seem to keep them coming for Toronto Film Festival awards...lol. And, then we have as example, CNN running the Haditha story non-stop for months and then when it turns out that the incident didn't happen like was first reported, and all those involved were cleared, you here no reports on it. Even Murtha won't apologize. We have Plame scandal run for months, feels like years, and all the attacks go towards Bush, Cheney, and Rove. And then, it comes out that it was really Armitage, a huge Iraq critic, that leaked Plame's name and not only do the media ignore it, but they still try and point the finger elsewhere. It isn't until a few months ago when I heard Scarborough admit that he has no idea why the whole thing was covered for so long when it was Armitage who leaked it all. This isn't even the beginning. The only place conservatives have to go to listen to news more biased their way is Fox News, and then, even on Fox News they have some huge liberals on there. Harold Ford Jr. and Wesley Clark (recently left for MSNBC and thus never going to be seen on TV again...lol) are analysts, and we have many others, Greta and Alan Colmes are liberals. We have many analysts as well, such as Kristen Powers, Susan Estrich, and others. Can't think of that one heavier set guys name, and who he is, but he is always on Fox News, very often in fact, and is a huge liberal. |

MSNBC WOULD run it, Cloudy . BUT, considering MSNBC's average ratings, it'd be pretty much akin to the ole tree falling in the forest axiom . |
