And guess who got stuck with the empty allegations ..all the Russian Collusion conspiracy theorists..and just as quick as they were wrong ..on to another false scenario..or attempts to destroy Trump's family ..It sure is odd how the Dems want to talk bad about Trump but are worse then he is..with all their corruption..So what have we PROVEN about Trump that is a CRIME..WE KNOW what Hillary has done..but there is far worse..just wait

Here's how I view it..sure Trump isn't perfect ..who is..but what he is doing is allowing us to "drain the swamp"..that's a good thing..so let's take advantage of that..then if Trump committed a crime that can be PROVEN..then we deal with that..We know that corruption exist on both sides .still we have to drain the swamp first..it only makes sense..

if there is no 'proof' on Trump, then there is even less on Hilary.

I dont see Trump 'draining' a swamp, except the one he came in creating, as told by the indictments of those he has brought on.

Drain the swamp is nothing but a cliche slogan. There will always be some level of corruption or crime. We have to ensure that we do not excuse or ignore it WHERE WE FIND IT, while realizing we will not eradicate or find it all, like all other types of crimes.

Maybe "draining the swamp" has nothing to do with crime and corruption? Maybe draining the swamp" is about the bureaucracy that makes rules and influences legislation without being held accountable by the electorate? Employees/administrators in the various government agencies that put their political viewpoints into the decisions they make at a level far below our elected representatives. Government politics is similar to office politics; someone is doing things and influencing decisions to advance their personal agenda!

Colt 45..Understand this ..It doesn't matter how long Trump has been around..he could've been around since the beginning of time..Holmes committed those murders in 2012..well before the term MAGA was even thought of in 2016..so it is inconceivable beyond any thought that he could be considered a MAGA murderer..the murders were committed long before the phrase and it's connection to Trump was even around...spock Can I call myself a member of a group of people that don't exist yet?

Besides Holmes murder scenario wasn't about Trump..he was ..the JOKER... and no..not the MAGA JOKER..lol

I don't know if that would necessarily be something to entrust to Trump either, not just because these issues are not under the purview of the office of POTUS, but because #45 himself is so full of hypocrisy and personal agendas.

There is plenty of it in business and politics, but it is a human flaw that we also are not going to change or get rid of, and will hardly ever be able to measure in terms of whether its being 'drained' or not.

When we elect POTUS we do so on the basis of their beliefs (at least as they tell us) and expect them to form an administration that reflects those beliefs. Assuming they can do this and appoint administrative heads of their respective agencies, the beliefs of POTUS should be the way the agency operates. The problems come below that level with those considered career civil servants. The challenge is removing those civil servants who are not willing to support the beliefs and direction of the administration. Some civil servants substitute their own agenda instead of those of the administration. In corporate America, if you want to keep your job, your behavior and attitude will reflect those of the CEO. Government doesn't work that way - very difficult to fire a civil servant who doesn't follow the policy direction of an administration.

There are several people who are now comparing the red MAGA hats that trump supporters have made famous to the white hoods that the KKK wear when they practice their racism and bigotry.

I think that it is a pretty good comparison, since the trump brand is well known for its long practice of racism, and bigotry towards minorities, and if you find somebody who is a racist,or a bigot, they are USUALLY a trump supporter, and proudly wear the hat out in public while they are practicing their antisocial deeds to show their support of Donald trump and his racist, and homophobic views.

We have all seen the viral video of the high schoolers from Kentucky with a great number of them proudly wearing their red MAGA hats to show up as a unified group to protest legal abortions, and then surrounded and taunted a group of Indians protesters on camera, with one high schooler spotlighted proudly wearing his red hat as he got right in indian protester Nathan Phillips face and stood there sneering at him to try to intimidate him.

THIS is the type of antisocial behavior that we have become all too accustomed to,because whenever you see groups of people wearing the red hats, whether it is at a trump rally cheering for his racist, and homophobic views that trump spews out to excite his supporters,or on the news, when you see someone on camera after they have been singled out for practicing their own antisocial views.

I am not trying to claim that EVERYBODY that wears the red hat does these things, but I don't think that it is a coincidence that any time you see anybody doing these things that they are proudly wearing a red MAGA hat.

so...while it might not be EXACTLY like he KKK does (YET),it is similar enough to them for people to start making the connection, and associating the hat to racism, and bigotry.

I dont know about the hat.

but i think this

reminds me of this

There is no comparison at all between McCarthy and Trump. This is incorrect foolish thinking. I believe that many people against the MAGA hat are searching far and wide and WAY back into history to find something to back them up. It's ridiculous to think that a Make America Great Again is anything more than a slogan.
just look at the stupidity of Pelosi, O'Rouke who says I was Born to Do This, --Elizabeth Warren lying about her ethnic heritage, Stuttering Joe Biden, good old Uncle Joe who says what he means, then denies that he meant it. Frankly i think it shows a great lack of understanding to attack the MAGA hat. How does anyone know if I am a Klan member or not? How do I know that the various posters on this thread are or are not members? KKK is not stupid..they don't wear their outfits in daylight. Anyone comparing the maga hat to the KKK needs to re-check their so-called "facts".

I agreed that not all who wear a hat are bigoted. I feel such an oversimplification may be up there with the lines of thinking all illegal immigrants are rapists and murderers, or that only 'some' might be decent.

I simply stated what the propaganda of MAGA is reminiscent of, beating the drums of war against a fictional 'enemy', whether it be communism, illegal immigration, or welfare or any other number of items that make 'them' the enemy the rest of us should fight against.

This is glaringly true in the State Department. There the bright young men who are born with silver spoons in their mouths are the ones who have been most traitorous. . . .

I have here in my hand a list of 205 . . . a list of names that were made known to the Secretary of State as being members of the Communist Party and who nevertheless are still working and shaping policy in the State Department.

... McCarthy, wheeling WV, Feb 9 1950

replace 'communist party' with 'swamp' and you have pretty much the drums of 'us verse the traitors and fake news' that Trump espouses.

Well, to be quite honest, the Communist party is alive and well here in America. Besides being everyday citizens, they have infiltrated the public school system, college universities, media, local, state and federal government. They pose as progressives. We have all run into these people at one time or another. Heck, I have family members who are card caring Communists who were born here in the USA and influencing young minds with great success up in Massachusetts. I was even one for a good many years, (back in college and for a few years afterwards - until I was 29). We still have to be on guard against Communism. It is taking over the USA. Deep down we all know it - it's just a matter if you like it enough to deny it's even happening.

Alot of things are happening, including radical KKK. Personally, as Ive said before , I think the word 'communist' is thrown around like some cliche political alarm to get people united in fear.

Where do you get a 'communist' card? Where does one find such information? The average voter is under educated about civics, what each branch does, what the checks and balances are, or how laws and policies actually are set. My guess is even fewer have any idea what communist REALLY is, let alone how to 'become' one in the United States.

Do people even know or care the difference between old Russia 'communism' and democratic socialism ... or is it a matter of people not caring to see the difference?

I would say no, like you said, civics and history aren't being taught anymore. If they were, we probably wouldn't be in the mess we are today.
