Anyone here like Tool? Similar music maybe even?

According to music map I like a few related bands.
I have some Tool but not a first choice (currently into guitar blues)

I like Metallica, System of a Down is okay, Pink Floyd is awesome, Alice in Chains not too much, I like Rush, Audioslave has some good songs, Dream Theater has some good songs, Not really into Nine Inch Nails (NIN), Rage Against The Machine, Queens of the Stone Age & Rammstien have some decent songs.

It depends on my mood and who is listening with me.

"Schism" is the best song about relationships I have ever heard

The music is awesome -especially the triplets -but the lyrics capture that isolated, disgusting and horrifying feeling you get when everything is falling apart -and you can't connect with the other even though they are right there -the only thing keeping you apart is a lack of knowing how to relate and solve the problem
