Why not? They find you attractive and mysterious because of your blank profile. Anyway, you can limit the people who may contact you such as age by setting your mail filters here: https://mingle2.com/inbox/filters

The older we get, the smaller the dating pool near our age therefore we need to expand the net to increase the possibilities. Besides, as we get older, there is a significant difference between chronological age and attitudinal age. Some are old at 50 while others are young at 80.

As bad as Argo's comment sounds don't be surprised if that's all they are looking for. To me (67) 72 isn't that old. To a 40 or 50 something that's 20 to 30 years older. They probably think she's lonely and an easy hit. Sorry for being negative but that's my take on it. Be careful. If I'm wrong I apologize. |

I get friend requests in that age group. I delete them .
They cannot sent me a Message because my filters are set for Older men. |

All I get are 20+ nudes nudging me.. I personally like the more mature women and not the kids...

I wish it was possible to set a filter related to how recently a member has been active. I also wish that all profiles that have not been active for six months should be automatically 'hidden' - that is, not deleted but not visible either. Such people can log in again and their profile becomes available as before.
Wouldn't that be nice? |

a search filter based on "last seen" added to the advanced list of filters would be nice

I can only say that if I ran a site like this I would respond to sensible suggestions. A 'certain type' of person would never get past my vetting procedure.
