Back in May, I got a cancer diagnosis for a type with not too good an outlook. At the same time it was prognosticated that I'd have a year +/- with treatment.


I had a chemo treatment Thu followed by one of my 36 hr naps.
Saw the doc & I'm apparently doing real well. Asked about a prognosis and got the PERFECT answer--"You're as tough as an army boot. The cancer is responding well to the chemo. It's disappearing in some places and reducing in others. We'll run scans when this cycle is finished & go from there. As long as you can still tolerate chemo, we'll keep going."

PLEASE NOTE:
No time sentence!!!

I told him I'd used half the time frame the first doc gave me & he cracked up! Best thing I ever did switching docs!

I'm convinced that it's due to the faith & prayer of myself and others. Thank you so much my friends, but all the Glory to GOD!!!

Your story about your doctors reminds me of the old Henny Youngman joke. Doctor gave a guy 6 mos. to live. Guy said he couldn't pay the bill. So he gave him another 6 mos.
