So what's your definition of "faith"? faith like delusion doesn't exist pass the mind ..faith is the realization of the lack of Free Will ..faith is to place oneself into the role of God that because they wish something to be then so be it EEK... Faith - I know that the decision I make is the right one... I have faith that no matter the path I take god will accept my new reality and place before my new path more choices. There are no wrong paths. |

"AdventureBegins"..faith cannot exist without doubt ...because why would you need it I am gravely sorry that you can not feel faith without doubt. It is a wonderful feeling... Faith in and of itself... One that I would hope all on the earth experience at least once in this lifetime. Love would then be more to us all than money, war and power... Which the earth could stand to have a lot less of. |

a belief is a belief because the believer of that belief has not enough proof to claim it as fact, so anyone that claim to "believe" in the existence of God is in fact stating they have "doubts" about God's existance ..hence "to believe is to doubt" so are those that then try to pass off a belief in God as truth without the sufficient proof to make such a claim lying to oneself and to others, while using the word faith as a way to justify the deception "to believe is to doubt" ...there is just no way around this logic This is actually good logic. If you feel you 'know' something and are positive about it, then you have no doubt whatsoever. But you cannot "know" a thing except by direct experience,if you do not have the direct experience then you do not know it, you only think you know it. If you think you know something by way of evidence or proof, (not by direct experience) then it is not the something that you know. It is the proof that you trust and believe in. You then think you know the truth because you trust and believe the proof. But even direct experience is faulty and can be wrong. To coin a term used by funches a lot, you could be delusional. So can you ever really KNOW SOMETHING and be 100% positive about it? I don't think so. |

That I exist is the only thing I am certain of. Everything else is just opinion, speculation and illusion. |

What god are you referring to? well it was something you said in a post a long long time ago in a thread far far away ..of you being a part of a greater God ...also you have that whole weird "universal mind" thing going on |
