There is no room for doubt in belief. If you believe something, you accept that it is true. If you doubt, then you don't believe. in a belief people will claim faith as an easy way to ignore the doubts ...if there were no doubts then the belief wouldn't be just a belief it would be truth Belief and truth are two seperate issues. A belief is a concept that one accepts as the truth. The truth is the actual facts of the matter. If someone believes something, it's the truth in their mind. Belief does not imply doubt. By definition, that is true. You are way off, you are trying to say "If someone believes in God, but doesn't have proof, then they doubt God's existance.", but your logic is completely faulty. While all beliefs are not true, that does not mean what those who hold a certain belief doubt that belief. |

you are trying to say "If someone believes in God, but doesn't have proof, then they doubt God's existance.", but your logic is completely faulty. again that is when faith plays a part there is belief then reality then truth .. BELIEF is used to explain possible reality REALITY is used to explain possible truths TRUTH need no explanation just comprehension because it is constant and indisputable since belief is used to explain possible reality and not truth that's why belief automatically implies doubt |

Belief is an accepted truth. The believer doesn't have proof of the truth, but they believe without proof. Reality is truth. Reality isn't possible anything, it is the truth. |

On your reality line, Spider, I have to add, except in the insane mind and how to reach that definition opens a whole bunch of possibilities.

On your reality line, Spider, I have to add, except in the insane mind and how to reach that definition opens a whole bunch of possibilities. The delusional interpretation of reality doesn't count. Reality means "The quality or state of being actual or true." There is no ambiguity. Reality is the truth, regardless of if the truth is known or believed, it is still the truth. All truth is an absolute. It's absolutely truth that as I'm writing this, I am eatting pita chips. Doubt if you will, but it's the truth. It is our personal interpretation of the truth that may or may not be the absolute truth. |

Bit of a furrowed brow here - God of the bible is defined as truth how then (by the mere fact the book exists?)?

Bit of a furrowed brow here - God of the bible is defined as truth how then (by the mere fact the book exists?)? Because God is accepted as a belief. A personal truth which may or may not be the actual truth. |

So you are changing the accepted defintions of the words? Belief is an accepted truth. The believer doesn't have proof of the truth, but they believe without proof. Reality is truth. Reality isn't possible anything, it is the truth. if believers do not have proof that it is truth ..then it can only be assumed to be truth ....assumption implies doubt just because a believer accept it as truth dosen't mean that it is truth ..this also implies doubt also truth is constant.. reality is not constant and can change in an instant...that means reality is not truth only the perception to explain a possible truth or to be used as a frame of refernece to a suppose truth |

if believers do not have proof that it is truth ..then it can only be assumed to be truth ....assumption implies doubt Belief is an accepted truth. You don't like that, but that is the accepted defintion. just because a believer accept it as truth dosen't mean that it is truth ..this also implies doubt How does that imply doubt? To whom does it imply doubt? If someone believes, without proof, that a claim is true...then they believe it is true. Where does the doubt come in? also truth is constant.. reality is not constant and can change in an instant...that means reality is not truth only the perception to explain a possible truth or to be used as a frame of refernece to a suppose truth Truth is reality. I don't know what you are trying to get at, but you are completely off on this one. http://www.answers.com/topic/reality?cat=health reality The quality or state of being actual or true I'm actually going to just stop discussing this with you. Something tells me that you will once again brush aside the actual meaning of the words and insist on your made up and inaccurate personal definitions of the words. |

I am eatting pita chips. Doubt if you will, but it's the truth. It is our personal interpretation of the truth that may or may not be the absolute truth. your perception is that in reality you are eating pita chips...but that is not the truth.. check the contents stated on the bag and see what you may be supposely actually eating |

My reality......God Is... My Truth.......Again God Is...... My Perception of my truth Vs. my reality........God Is. My Belief is that without question my God and my Faith are my best Rality and my BEST TRUTH...... belief plus faith can only equal doubt ..faith is only needed where doubt dwells |

I'll take that as a no.
Okay, funches, have you ever addressed the fact that you are trying to equate two synonyms with their antonym? |
