Day One - A man asks for my phone number. I said no. He gives me his. If I call he then has mine. He never left a I care message since I didn't call or text him. Would you take the chance and text him if the conversation in here was a good one? I am new to dating to online sites and not sure if this would be a risky move or not.

Any personal info you give out is risky. Especially phone numbers. Most who have tried that with me gives out a VOIP nu.ber. which basically means they can be anywhere.

I'll throw my 2 cents in here with a NO answer - do NOT give your phone number, your email, or go to any other site. That is a typical scammer request. If this other person is "real" - they will understand your concern - because they should be dealing with the same thing as well. Stay here to chat - and get to know the other person to make sure they are real. Ask them about their city, places they like to shop, etc. - and look for discrepancies.
Scammers can't give specifics on any of that because they are not really there. Just sound them out before giving any personal info. Good luck with your searches. |
