Trying to feed solid food(mashed sweet potato) to my over a month old baby kitten,Max and he's loving it so much. I dearly love this little pumpkin.A pure joy.

I may have it wrong cal .. but I thought cats were obligate carnivores and had difficulty digesting sweet potato .. why have you chosen that to feed max ???

You are absolutely right stellar nurse Blondey! But given a very small portion of this sweet potato won't give harm to his digestion.Besides,i only do this to introduce solid food for the very first time to their palate.And,it's already a "tradition" to do this to all my kitten felines over the years. Glad to see you around lovely lady.

I had a full grown tomcat that liked cookies and hot coco. Mine loves to eat steamed leafty veggies together with their staple food steamed chicken breast fillet or fish. I don't feed them canned or dry food.
