the only food i heard mentioned was turkey.
'pumpkin pie' and 'peanut butter fudge' are just two different ways of saying that somebody screwed up the recipe. ![]() |

![]() Hmmm... Good point! It'll be my turn to be fickle as I'm touring Boston ![]() I'd rather tour a distillery. When I drank, that would have been my choice as well. |

I'm very picky about my fudge
![]() Chocolate with chunks of walnuts White fudge with chopped pecans (and it has to be poured into the big white turkey platter cause that's how grandma did it) And the best is plain creamy peanut butter fudge And I just got another turkey for 49 cents a pound ![]() |

Hey dub... Where is that place for lunch? And the bakery?
Is it on the Freedom Trail? |

you can't get lunch @ Giacomo's
355 Hanover St (617) 523-9026. they don't open until 4:30pm people are usually lined up waiting. it's in the north end, the bakery ('modern' is the one you want) is a few doors before giacomos. you'll likely have leftovers so be prepared to be walking with them. also, don't forget that there's likely to be a line wait (of up to an hour or more) to get in, depending of weather and stuff. i hope you make it there, and that your experience at least equals my recommendation. |

Thanks dub, I'm almost there.
Stinks it opens close to dark time. Maybe tomorrow. I want to check in my hotel at a decent time and have a ways to go for that. |
|
|
|
good luck!
it's a small, very busy place. to feel less rushed, and a good patron/neighbor it helps to have an idea of what to order before you arrive, and don't linger too long after you've finished so they can turn the table. you know the deal... ![]() ![]() |

I didn't go, I wanted to get to the hotel before dark and it gets dark here by 5pm.
Just got here actually. If I stay until Saturday I will try to get there. I at least stopped by the bakery. I messed up my knee this morning and after being on it all day it's pretty shot. It's difficult to walk up and down stairs. I'm going to try and get a clinical massage tomorrow. |

It looks amazing. I got the chocolate covered cheesecake, haven't ate it yet.
I need to order dinner, I didn't eat much today. I had some Indian bread with chicken, very tasty and spicy |
