for the record, the bakery is modern bakery; it's the one that's on the same side of the street as giacomo's. there's another on the other side of the street (mike's) which is a newcomers and tourist favorite, but the old timers...the ones that grew up there (yes, there are still a few that remember the old neighborhood), they'll tell you that there's a reason that modern has been there for 3 generations. it's the real deal.

that does look pretty respectable.
sometimes it all come's down to what you're in the mood for. your giacomo's looks kind of upscaley...in that it's mixtures of specialty type ingredients. the boston giacomos i'd say lends itself more towards what i'll call more of a rustic style in that it's the classics done right, and they've been doing it for over thirty years. it's good stuff. that's really the point. |

Galaxy that menu looks yummy. Just got back from horseback riding. I walked 2.7 miles to the stables, rode for an hour, and walked back 
Now I seriously need a massage 
Horseback riding was great! It was a more challenging trail with rugged terrain. First time for me on rugged terrain. Most of the trails I've been on were pretty simple. The one today had steep climbs and going down a steep hill with tree trunks all over. It was pretty cool
