You say your goin' through changes
Everything seemed your life was up and down
And you say that your lookin' for an answer
Everywhere you look it seemed it cant be found
Like searchin' tryin' to find a rainbow
But no ones ev - no ones ev - no ones ever found
But if your lookin' for a lover
Everything you need, you can find right here in me

I've got the midas touch
Everything I touch turns to gold
(Oh sugar)
I've got the midas touch
Baby let me touch your body and your soul

Now you've been trappaed by a love
Someone breaks your heart and then says goodbye
So u say you'll never love another
Tired of playin games and thats the reason why

But now when ever we're together
Theres a certain feeling that we both agree
And its time that you opened up your love
Cos if you dont ever try then baby you may never see

I've got the midas touch
Everything i touch, turns to gold
(Yeah darlin')
I've got the midas touch
Baby let me touch your body and your soul
(OooooHh)

Together you and I were meant to be
I'll be right beside you in ex!@#%...

(The midas to-touch)
(OooooHh)
I've got the midas touch
Everything I touch, turns to gold
(Its all in my hand)
I've got the midas touch
Baby let me touch your body and your soul
(wont you let me, let you, baby)

I've got the midas touch..
I've got the midas touch..

I freaking love that song.

As for the Midas touch, that can be dangerous. He'd talking about bringing in broken girls and fixing them. I have noticed some bad reactions to from trying to "fix" the "broken" One is that if they were broken when they came into your shop, they will leave when they get fixed and do what they were meant to do. Anytime someone who was broken latched to me because they loved the way I lifted them up from a cold world and helped them realize the beauty that's been hiding inside, they soon grew tolerant of it and didn't need me anymore.

This kinda reminds me of something I wrote. The point I'm making, not the song. And what you are about to read is not a poem:

Flowers VS Gold

Next time you think you might be able to woo a girl by
saying, "Yo, I'll treat you like gold, my lil' angel
drawers" read this and maybe you might get to see
the wings spread.

With flowers people need to care for them, feed them,
shine light upon them so they can GROW, and even talking
to them, until they die. Now with gold, all you have to
do is clean it to make it pretty, people wear gold as a
symbol of wealth or money, and when it gets tarnished or
scratched or broken or if people get bored with it, people toss
it aside and get a new piece.

Get it, piece.

Anyway, I think, and this is through my experience, that
females in general don't want correction. When they come
to you with a problem they have with themselves, they don't
want you to say they or you can and should fix it. Just
listen and shut the hell up. If you want or feel the need
to say anything, just say I'll be here. As guys we are
always trying to improve, whether it's the house, a
sidewalk, a new version of a web community or even
ourselves. Ever noticed how they react when trying to help
our way? Usually we are looked at as controlling, manipulative
or a FRIEND. Believe it or not they sorta got their **** in
line. Not to say we don't, we just live in another world.
As males, we are simple, this is for the ladies by the way.
If you think we are complicated or confusing, chances are,
you're thinking too hard. But I'm not trying to teach you
anything, change you never. Just wish we could see eye to eye
and not think we are all bad people just because the notches
on our headboards accumulate.

We are very different, even within our own sexes. Think of it
this way, we are whirlwinds and you are rocks.

No offense, it could go either way.

very correct and well worded. However i see it more and more, they are looking for that one man, not to "change" them but to give them hope that good men are out there. The Midas touch to me is saying "hey i may not be with you forever" but i am real and real men are out there, now with your heart of gold go find you someone to make that gold shine

well alrighty than :) TRUE...men are easy...women are emotional, dramatic wrecks of CONFUSION. I do not mean that sarcastically...I don't understand most women...got the best of both worlds by being a tomboy...simpleness of man rubbed off on me from all my guy friends and I still get to be attracted to them rather than the crazy gender laugh
